Alerting Big Local News members of new WARN Act notices
Federal law requires the disclosure of many mass layoffs months in advance. But with no centralized database of notices, journalists struggle to keep up.
Big Local News’ open-source software solves the problem by consolidating the latest data from dozens of fragmented government websites each day. Members of its Industrial Affiliates program receive automated alerts when new notices arrive.
